Graphic Organizers

Another way to organize what you want to know is to use a table or matrix.   For example, if you wanted to know how different kinds of bears lived and what they ate, you could design a matrix that looks like the one below to help you answer your questions. We'll call this your Graphic Organizer Chart.

Bear type What they eat Where they live About their cubs
Polar bear      
Black bear      
Grizzly bear
