Everybody Section at Squires

The everybody section is the part of our library where picture books and beginning readers are kept.

The call numbers on everybody books start with E, which stands for Everybody.   Then they have the first three letters of the author's last name. Example:

E

Bro

E stands for the Everybody section - that's where the book is kept.

Bro - stands for Brown, that's Marc's last name!

Everybody books ARE for everybody.   There are picture books there that have no words, some that have a lot of words, and some that are meant especially for older kids.   There are beginning reader chapter books there, too.   Some of my favorite everybody books are:

Amelia Bedelia, by Peggy Parish

June 29, 1999, by David Weisner

Jumanji, by Chris van Allsburg

And to think that I saw it on Mulberry Street, by Dr. Seuss

Owl moon, by Jane Yolen

Tales of Peter Rabbit, by Beatix Potter

Frog and Toad are friends, by Arnold Lobel

Danny and the dinosaur, by Syd Hoff
